Install Software on Blackberry 5.x - 7.1

Important: Software does not support Blackberry OS 10.x devices.

Software currently supports only Blackberry OS 5.x - 7.1 models. This may include the 9000 series models such as Curve, Bold, Storm (1 or 2) and Touch, although you still need to verify the phone's current OS version before installing Software.

You'll also need an Internet connection from the device, and any passwords necessary when restarting it.

Minor steps below may differ between various models and/or OS versions.

 

  1. Open the browser and navigate to http://dmw.bz

  2. Click to confirm you have a license, then click "View All Software", and then the BLACKBERRY logo. Your download should then begin.

  3. Wait for the download to complete.

  4. Once the application has been installed, tap OK.

  5. Make sure all options are checked as shown, and tap SAVE.

  6. Tap OK when the confirmation dialog box appears.

  7. Press the CALL button.

  8. Dial *#900900900 as a call, to make the software appear.

  9. The Activation dialog box will appear.

  10. Pres the MENU key and select ACTIVATE.

  11. Type in your license code and then select ACTIVATE.

  12. Wait for the Activation to be completed.
